Is the inspection really free? What's the catch?
Yes, zero cost. We do this because in Dallas-Fort Worth, the majority of roofs have storm damage that goes undocumented. If we find damage, we'll tell you exactly what your options are — file an insurance claim (we help), pay out of pocket, or do nothing. No pressure, no obligation.
Will filing a claim raise my insurance premium?
Storm-damage claims are classified as "act of God" claims in Texas and are generally not used to raise your individual premium. Regional rate changes affect everyone, but your specific claim doesn't single you out. We'll walk you through the specifics during your inspection.
How long does the inspection take?
Typically 45–60 minutes on site. We inspect the roof (drone + ground), document everything, and explain what we found. You get a written report within 48 hours.
What if the adjuster denies my claim?
We're not done after the first visit. If the adjuster denies or under-scopes the claim, we'll prepare a supplement package and meet them again. Most of our claim wins come from that second look — our documentation simply overrides their initial read.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. TDLR License TL-GC-003506. Fully insured with general liability and workers' comp. We're happy to share certificates of insurance with your HOA or adjuster on request.
What does "$0 out of pocket" actually mean?
If insurance approves your claim, your only out-of-pocket cost is your deductible (typically $1,000–$2,500). Rex handles everything else directly with your carrier. No hidden fees, no surprise invoices. This does not apply to retail (non-insurance) work, where you pay full project cost.
